About

Two sisters, Renae and Paula, lived just a few miles from each other for thirty years or so.  Our families (including our parents) were all very close and used to doing everything together.   And then one day, Renae’s family found out they would be moving from Oklahoma to Pennsylvania.  This was a life changer.  But being tough “Sims” girls, and having husbands that were determined to make it work too, we made the best of the circumstances and figured out ways to make it happen.  First lesson, good phone plans!  Second lesson, go to the new state/home and see for yourself that all is well.  Third lesson,  use that good phone plan.

And that is how this blog came to be….Stuff I Tell My Sister is exactly that….the everyday normal AND maybe not so normal stuff that happens, to keep us informed, enlightened, laughing, sisters and friends.  Paula (that’s me!) began this blog on Jan. 10, 2012 ~ to celebrate Renae’s birthday. We were raised in rural Oklahoma and just a few years ago, Paula & hubby moved back to Oklahoma.  We are empty nesters and enjoying life with our two rescue pups, Sugar & Baby. We never know what each new day may bring~

Thanks for sharing your precious time with us!  We’d love to hear from you! So leave a comment anytime!  Remember ~ “Life is Short, Peace is Sweet.”  So be nice to people ♥♥♥
