Visiting Oklahoma City ~

Maybe I am not really considered a visitor to Oklahoma City.  I was born here, after all.  But many changes have occurred since we moved away.  Positive changes.  I still feel at home here, but yet, like a “guest”.   A welcomed guest, that is. These are just a handful of photos from the downtown area.  There is so much to see and do here with Bricktown, the Memorial, the canal, the cupcake stores and the candy stores.  I haven’t even mentioned all the places you can eat and shop while here! Then there are sports and music venues galore.  Perhaps I’m a bit partial…..but if you haven’t visited Oklahoma City, you may want to add it to your list for some fun!  🙂

p.s.  Expect more OKC photos SOON! (….we are the SOONER state, ya know?)  Have a good one, friends ♥

  7. We were in Oklahoma city about 40 years ago to visit my aunt but I sure don’t remember any huge buildings like this. We have a slide that shows a gas station in the background and gas was 25 cents per gallon….so you know that was a LOOONNNG time ago! I’m anxious to see more of your photos.

I love OKC and these photos are GREAT. Can’t wait to see more, Bricktown is one of my favorite places to hang out down there. 🙂

  9. I’ve walked along the canal, seen the memorial, listened to the Blues at the Biting Sow and ate at Toby Keith’s! Isn’t there some old building that has something to do with Elvis presley’s family and maybe also used to make coffins or did I just dream that one up?

I love OKC – the memorial after sunset is so hauntingly beautiful. It’s a lovely downtown area – a little midwest, a little bit southern.
