SO MANY people are using “Pinterest” these days. If you have not yet heard this term, you will. If you do not “pin”, here’s a little info from the pinterest website that might enlighten you. I was very slow at figuring this out, but I kept playing with it and now thoroughly enjoy it. The home dec, do it yourself, photo, exercise and recipe ideas have been amazing! It is fun seeing the ideas of others from all over the world. You can follow your friends ideas and also strangers; you can leave comments. If you are reading an online article and see a great recipe, don’t print it out, PIN IT, right then! Even better is that you can pin (save) any of these ideas with the click of a button and it is not saved to your computer hard drive. Read on to learn more…..
The following is from www.pinterest.com.
What is Pinterest?
Pinterest is a Virtual Pinboard.
Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes.
Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests. To get started, you can request an invite from www.pinterest.com or ask a pinterest user to send you one. (ask me, I’ll invite you!)
What Can You Do with Pinterest?
These are Pinterest Boards:

Our Mission (from Pinterest)
Our goal is to connect everyone in the world through the ‘things’ they find interesting. We think that a favorite book, toy, or recipe can reveal a common link between two people. With millions of new pins added every week, Pinterest is connecting people all over the world based on shared tastes and interests.
HAPPY PINNING!!!
I love Pinterest…especially for recipes. I also get great ideas for outfits to wear.
I agree, Lauri! My hubby says his business at Hobby Lobby has increased like crazy because folks are shopping for items they saw on “Pinterest”. So you know he’s a fan, too!
My wife LOVES Pinterest and is waiting anxiously for an invite. Both of us are, if anyone had one to share for her…? I will send her your blog. Can you share an invite or two?

Sean ~ just send your e-mail address and I’ll get an invite out to you.
Sure, thanks! kqrpnb@ gmail. com. Thanks!!
INVITE SENT! ENJOY!
Got it thanks. You ROCK!!!
yay! Happy Pinning!
I LOVE Pinterest too. My main focus is (of course) food and I’ve gleaned some wonderful recipes from there. Our daughter has pinned several great ideas for kids’ crafts and has completed some DIY projects for their new home in Ohio. It’s great to see (and steal) the ideas that friends and family pin as well. It can be time consuming, to say the least, but there is definitely a reward in the end. Great addition to the world wide web!
Time consuming…it certainly can be! Addictive, even, if you allow. But such great fun!
I love Pinterest! I’m pretty new to it, but am enjoying connecting with others and especially love crafts, recipes and home decorating ideas! Actually, it has been one more way of getting to know distant cousins I have never met. It’s amazing how many things we have in common:)
That is awesome, Jeannette. I can see a “pin” now and know who it belongs to before I even see the name. It really does make us know each other better.
FYI…I discovered your blog through my dear friend Delores in AZ:) Love it!
OH! Thanks for telling me that, Jeannette! So nice to meet you! I love Ms. Delores ~ and thanks for reading my blog…I really appreciate you ♥
What’s not to love? 🙂 We’ve been friends for 30+ years. I also have a lot of family in the Tulsa area. We were just back there for Thanksgiving and an extended trip. My first visit to a Hobby Lobby – wish we had them in CA.
Depending on what area in CA you are in, Hobby Lobby has just ventured into this state. I think they have three open stores and two that will open this spring. You can check out the locations at http://www.hobbylobby.com.
Thanks for the suggestion:) Unfortunately, they are all 4-5 hours away from me:( Hopefully more will come!
Oh fun! Invite me, please! 🙂
Invite sent!
Oh Yipeee….I am now a member of Pinterest. I have been on their site many, many times and didn’t know I should join until you talked about it. I can see hours and days could go by while gazing at all the beautiful, useful, crafty, good recipe things that are on there. Fun, Fun! Especially since I’m still trying to get rid of my awful bug. Thanks for the encouragement to venture forth.
that is AWESOME! Have fun!
I told Renae that I am getting able to tell which “pins” are hers, especially the home deco ones…I bet she has a lovely home…
like a better homes and garden home….it should be in magazines ~
