Beautiful Tribute to a Great Man!!!
♥♥♥
I remember the day he walked on the moon! I was working for a small aircraft company in Sun Valley, CA and my boss brought in a small (black &white of course!) TV. All the office employees gathered in his small office and watched the landing. IT was so thrilling and we all cheered loudly together. I don’t think we got a lot of work done that day:) Yes, Neil Armstrong will forever be remembered in our history books! I was also fortunate , a few years ago, to attend a talk given by Buzz Aldrin right here in my home town:) Great explorers of our time!!
How awesome to here Buzz Aldrin! I think of that black & white footage with “awe” and fond memories. Unimaginable at the time…..
I just had a thought….this was long before we needed “cable”: TV. He just plugged the TV into the wall socket and we were good to go:) Yes, it was AWESOME!!
Exactly. All we needed was a little tin foil sometimes! 🙂
Hello, I have just nominated your blog for The Versatile Blogger Award:

That was a very fitting tribute Paula 🙂
Such an honor to have been around to watch this on the old black & white….thanks, Maggie ♥
