I wanted to share a few Autumn flower photos taken at the home of my parents near Oklahoma City. The bit of rain they received has certainly helped!Dad’s pecan tree ~

The pictures were beautiful Paula and I’m taking that snake isn’t real… right?
Thanks, Maggie! My mom has such a green thumb! My aunt made the snake…the only good snake….a fake one! 🙂
Right!
awesome pictures, love the one with the wasp! Just amazing. 🙂
Ha! My mom really wanted that photo….it would not have happened if I had not had a zoom lens! (yes I’m a big chicken!) 🙂
I am too!
🙂 In good company!
Wow! Stunning photography! On second thoughts, I don’t think ‘stunning’ begins to properly articulate the awesomeness of these photos
you are too kind…..my fav place to take pics…..mom & dad’s back yard! 🙂 have a super weekend! (it’s almost here!)
Faye and Garland think pic’s enhance the real thing..we enjoyed ..
Love these!

Lovely! That moon pic is really good. 🙂
a hazy evening…..that always helps. thanks ♥
Awesome Paula. Gotta tell ya, I’m always getting my face down there with the bees and spideys and stuff…but even I would have zoomed that wasp. He’s looking at you! Yikes.
Well everyone knows I’m a big ole chicken….but mom wanted that shot and the zoom is soooo good for that! haha! And then off he flew and I jumped and maybe even squeaked….lol
LOL…was THAT what I heard? EEK
haha
I didn’t know there were fall blooming iris. Loved your pictures!
I know! If if can happen, Mom’s green thumb will do it! 🙂
Yay..does this mean you are home!? 🙂 Great photos…I might go see my dad soon and he’s got a great yard…you’ve given me an idea…
so so glad that snake is fake, whew! xo
Yep….home….but so much to do! More later, girl!
Ok girl..get busy! 🙂

haha! my luck it was! good thing I didn’t know it at the time! 🙂
Great set – love the light through the pecan tree! I want a pecan tree:)
Thanks…. That pecan tree is so overloaded, limbs are bending and some are breaking. Harvest cannot happen soon enough!
My grandpa had one – he would send me a lunch sack loaded with them through the mail – I’ve been wanting to plant one here.
You should do it! Fall is the perfect time to plant. We planted a willow oak today.
Gorgeous!
thanks, Naomi ♥
Great photos!
thanks….love visiting mom & dad’s backyard! 🙂
