Wishing my dad a Happy Father’s Day!
We were blessed to be raised by a gun-toting, hard-working, family focused, God-loving man. Thanks for that, Dad.
And Happy Father’s Day to my hubby….who set(s) that same example.
To all men….this is your day. Enjoy it, own it, but remember….you are setting an example for everyone around you. It’s up to you to determine if your example is one that makes the world a better place. And it’s never too late to start. ♥
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
Wonderful tribute to fathers everywhere.
We just never know what influence we have on the lives of others….. what a responsibility! Happy Sunday, Sheri!
🙂 He’s a good man… and you know what they say… it takes a man to father a daughter 🙂
He is the best…..and I would not have wanted to have raised me…OR my sisters! lol! Happy Father’s day to YOU, friend. James is such a lucky young man to have you ~
Thank you 🙂 I appreciate that…
🙂 Have a good Sunday!
As always, beautifully said.
Happy Sunday to you, friend ♥

Thanks, Bulldog. HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to YOU! ♥
Beautiful post …. not a fan of either Mothers Day or Fathers Day … but his is so touching. Never known my dad.
I feel very blessed to have two precious parents. When I was a child I thought it was just the way it was….but I learned as I grew older that it was not the same for everyone. Appreciate you, friend ♥
No … far too many children without parents too … not fair on a child.
You are sooooo right. Life is not fair many times. ♥
Beautifully said. Two wonderful men in your life, and I know that brought two more! Love the verse! 😉
♥ Happy Sunday, Jodi ♥ Here’s to a good week!
Well said. You’re very lucky. Hope your father enjoys the day.
Thanks and yes….so very lucky!

Isn’t he a hoot, Pauline?!?!? And wonderful, too. Thanks for all you do. Appreciate you SOOOO much!
A great post, Paula! I especially love the photo of your parents and the two little girls standing in front of that wonderful car!
Haha! Now that was a few years ago! My proof that I’m the little sister! I think that was in Enid, Oklahoma, 50 years or so ago. And now? Our younger set of kids live in Enid! Drove by the old house and it is still there.
Hope your weekend has been awesome, Naomi. Happy day to you and yours ♥
I just love that your blog communicates with your family and that you let us peek in. Thanks!
They won’t let me tell all though! lol!
Happy Dad’s Day to the best ever Dad!! Paula….I’m glad I didn’t have to raise you too… LOL some of the stories I could tell….you know the time………oh ,I’ll save that story for another time 🙂
Ditto, sister!!! 😉 I will find the time for my stories SOON! 😉
What a great fantastic tribute to honor the man who had the joy of raising you…I BET there are some stories! I think your sister should write a guest post one of these days! Uh-oh..did I say that out loud!? 😀
Yes she should!!! But I must first edit it!!!! 😉 Thanks, Bon-Bon ♥
Oh, no editing!!! 😉
