On our front porch, just above the rose-bush, we have a secret. Well, several secrets, actually. Shhhhhhhh.
Even though I’m not sure if “It’s a boy, It’s a boy, It’s a boy, It’s a boy” or “It’s a girl, It’s a boy, It’s a girl, It’s a boy” ~ Congrats to this very attentive mama bird. Your babies are beautiful. And you are amazing ♥
Reblogged this on Amanda's Words / starfire8me and commented:
cool, I have 3 teenage boys! Treasure the early years, and don’t wish they would get bigger, they will before you know it!!
The sunlight in all of these photos makes them shine all the more beautifully. Love the little baby birds. 😀 So adorable!
Thank you. It was getting close to sunset….I was so tickled to be able to “grab” the natural light!
I am rather protective of them! 🙂
Are they robins’ eggs? At this time of year?
Mama is not a robin….but I’m not sure what she is yet! I thought it odd to have summer birds, too!
Thanks for my before bed smile!
🙂 sweet dreams ♥
Sunlight…. What is that? Haven’t seen it in soooo long, I can’t remember what it is. Sweet photos, love them!
I’m so sorry!!! I saw the national news coverage of the mess in your area. It’s GOTTA get better! Be safe and Hang in there 🙂
How wonderful!
A treat for sure!
At 12:18am, this already made my day. Thanks! 🙂
awwww…I’m so glad!! Hope the rest of your day is amazing 🙂 paula
You lucky things – isn’t it just wonderful to watch them hatch and grow. It’s all over so quickly though.
We are trying to stay out of their way….but there is so much enjoyment in watching the process! The spring nest here was built inside our grill on the back porch. Drove the pups nuts when they were out there….because they knew where they were and couldn’t “get” them. This mama chose a better place!
Thank you for sharing your secrets . . . I wish I had a porch — front or back, it wouldn’t matter.
Well I wish you did, too. We are “porch- sitters”. A good way to unwind. But then again….just give me a window!
🙂
So sweet!!!!!!!!!!
🙂
Love the shot of the porch with the sun! Beautiful. (this is kind of a test)
It worked….and ty! 🙂
yea!
I have to make sure I’m logged in before I leave a comment. And I might be logged in on one person’s blog but not on the next. I’ve learned to copy and paste what I post in case it doesn’t go through. I have to exit the page and then reopen it after I’ve logged in on a particular page. Its a royal pain and WP tech support gave me no help. I wrote them even, and they never got back with me. 😦
Well good for you for figuring it out….but I agree….a huge pain!!!
I think the problem is WP is not compatible with firefox, but I have to use it for Clint’s work. Firefox is much better on other avenues.
Apparently I can post comments today, but still can’t LIKE 😛
so strange, Darla!!!!!!!
Lovely secrets! Thanks for sharing the beauty on your front porch.
Thanks for viewing this sweet little guys. The are adorable. 🙂
Oh, how sweet 🙂
🙂
Wow! How cool is that?!? Gorgeous photos my friend and love the “its a boy/its a girl” conundrum!! 🙂
Thank you Bonnie ~ I’m buying cigars in both colors to be safe 🙂
You are SO smart! But, I already knew that!
phlewly….. 🙂
Lovely photos and gorgeous color on the eggs:-) I’m sure some paint manufacturer would like to duplicate that!
Haha….well I never thought of that…but I just don’t think we can match what God does, do you?
I am excited to watch their “practice” flights. 🙂
What wonderful pictures!
We had a wren build a nest in the hanging basket on our front porch this summer, but during a hard rain and wind, the basket tipped over.
Thank you ♥
Yes….the wind can be cruel….This mama chose a very protected nesting place, thank goodness. 🙂
Hope you get to watch their first flight!
Me too!
So sweet, Paula!
How wonderful, Paula. I hope these little babies all survived. 🙂
Oh me too! They were gone before I knew it!
