Even though I’m not sure if “It’s a boy, It’s a boy, It’s a boy, It’s a boy” or “It’s a girl, It’s a boy, It’s a girl, It’s a boy” ~ Congrats to this very attentive mama bird. Your babies are beautiful.  And you are amazing ♥

cool, I have 3 teenage boys! Treasure the early years, and don’t wish they would get bigger, they will before you know it!!

  2. The sunlight in all of these photos makes them shine all the more beautifully. Love the little baby birds. 😀 So adorable!

  3. Are they robins’ eggs? At this time of year?

  4. Thanks for my before bed smile!

  5. Sunlight…. What is that? Haven’t seen it in soooo long, I can’t remember what it is. Sweet photos, love them!

  6. At 12:18am, this already made my day. Thanks! 🙂

  7. You lucky things – isn’t it just wonderful to watch them hatch and grow. It’s all over so quickly though.

    • We are trying to stay out of their way….but there is so much enjoyment in watching the process! The spring nest here was built inside our grill on the back porch. Drove the pups nuts when they were out there….because they knew where they were and couldn’t “get” them. This mama chose a better place!

Lovely photos and gorgeous color on the eggs:-) I’m sure some paint manufacturer would like to duplicate that!

  15. What wonderful pictures!
We had a wren build a nest in the hanging basket on our front porch this summer, but during a hard rain and wind, the basket tipped over.
