Spring has arrived. While there may be some winter like days ahead, my head still feels better knowing that Spring is at least official. Spring brings changes. Mostly good changes, a few things…not so much.
This morning I sat down to pay bills when I noticed a pretty big increase in our AT&T bill. (Internet, cable, etc) They had just committed to a one year contract with me in January, stating that if I changed carriers or moved anytime during the year, I would be responsible for making up the difference in the agreement. So today I called them to remind them that if it is a contract on MY side, it is also to be honored on their side. I spoke with Alford. In his broken English, he explained that they would make the adjustment to the agreed on original commitment. Do Not Worry, he said. In my crazy Oklahoma English I expressed my gratitude in their doing what they were supposed to do in the first place. And before he bade me farewell and asked that I never text and drive, his words were, AND I HOPE YOU WILL REMEMBER ME ALWAYS.
I most certainly will, dear Alford.
Be nice to people. You never know what they might be dealing with today.
It pays to be nice in everything we do indeed, I’m surprised though that AT&T is still around after that bandwidth throttling fiasco.
Love the photo.
Thank you ♥
