Through the Windshield

It’s been a while since I took you on a Sunday drive with us. Our past month has been an interesting one ~ full of joys, and some scares. This drive seemed to take us away for a little bit….and remind us of how blessed we are to still have each other’s hand to hold. It’s not always about where you are going, it’s about sharing the journey along the way.

Treasure each day with your loved ones.  And be kind to people.  They need it, and so do you.

You saw a space capsule on your drive? Now that’s a random encounter. 🙂 I hope all is well…it sounds like there were moments when it was not. This is a lovely reminder not to forget for one moment that every “ordinary day” is a blessing. ox

    • Isn’t the space capsule / fallen concrete truck hilarious? ! A health scare and a car accident. ….we are good. But it was frightening. Life is short….. great hearing from you! Hugs♡

We are such soul sisters…it blows the mind! Love this and you. Stay cool (not possible here…I’m soggy and dripping ALL the time)…keep snapping my friend, always a darned good treat! xoxo

  3. Oh, wonderful to see a Sunday Drive. I haven’t seen one of those wagon wheel fences in forever and those large round bales of hay – – – Paula – – – you always have a way of bringing great memories back.
You are so right about spending this special time with the person you love. You never know when the last time will be. I’ve learned to treasure a simple smile for I don’t know when I might see one again and they are indeed precious to behold.
I know it would be more than a Sunday Drive but, have you ever seen the Stone Bridges of Kansas. They do a guided tour each spring and fall. The photo at the top of my blog is one of the bridges. All of the bridges have rich stories that go along with them. If you ever want more info, just let me know. Sheri

    • Sheri~ a guided “real” story trip sounds amazing! Thanks for the idea!

Quality time together has become more scarce. With a car accident and some other health issues within a couple of weeks of each other, it has made us rethink some things, for sure. We also need to win the lottery! (But as my lawyer said…right, you and everybody else…) Thank you, Sheri. ♡♡♡
