Today is a very special day. September 8th. My 200th post since I began this little blogging journey in January. And while that is fun and cool…that isn’t even the “special” part!
What makes this day extraordinary? The birth of our second son, Chi. Twenty-five years ago. There is something unexplainable about having a son. And then when you are blessed with TWO of them, your life becomes unlike anything you ever expected. It becomes more. I love my boys.
HaPPy BiRtHdAy, Malachi! Celebrate Life, continue blessing others, and always be willing to be more~ We Love You! ♥♥♥
Those glasses never would fit back on Mr. Potato head! Love you Chi!!!
They were just a little loose. Love you Dad!

Congratulations on 200 posts and 25 years of being Chi’s mom. It looks like you did a great job on both!
Both have created challenges and laughter! 🙂 thanks, Maggie ♥ 🙂
Congratulations to you for raising such amazing boys! While I don’t know Chi’s brother, there is not a doubt in my mind that he is every bit as awesome as Malachi. I feel blessed to have had the chance to have you both in my life. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Malachi (Go Pokes~ [sorry] LOL)!
I do believe I deserve a couple of medals or at least patches, Christi, for raising these boys! haha! Yep, you are right tho, they are both amazing young men. (Mad, my oldest, has an Oct bday….you’ll see more of him then!) You know Chi adores you. (and I can see why! ♥)

Thanks, Darla…I will tell him. (and too funny about those glasses on your girls, too!)
Children are a blessing and help us to stay humble and child-like. Enjoy your children (and your blog)!
You are so right. And I had the pleasure of seeing ALL of my kiddos this week! Now that’s the best week ever 🙂
These are really delightful shots–looks like you ALL know how to have fun.
It does seem to come natural! haha 🙂
Awesome 🙂 Congrats on reaching post #200 – I’m not far behind you 🙂 And happy birthday Malachi! 🙂
I’ll wait a minute and you can catch up! Met Malachi and his bride for lunch today….a fun time….have a great week! 🙂
Kudos on your 200th post! Keep blogging, sista! I absolutely love the photo of your son in the trash can! I have a photo of my kids when they were in elementary inside a trash can filled with water. When we moved to the “ranch” we had our new trash cans delivered and they immediately proceeded to fill them with water and make a pool. Aren’t kids so much fun?
haha! That’s one of my favorite pics, too! (and he was 23ish with a new trash can delivered to he and his bride’s home! Even with our boys all grown up….they keep us laughing out LOUD! 🙂 The water is a fun idea….but we won’t tell Chi! Keep having fun! 🙂
