This Land was Made for You and Me ~

Sundays in the park.  A place to play or kick back.  Listen to music.  Dance.  Relax.  A beautiful new park area recently opened in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma.  They have all of this and more in mind for residents and visitors.  Hubby and I had to go check it out this past Sunday. Guthrie Green is a pretty awesome gathering place.  I do believe Woody Guthrie nailed it when he sang, “This land was made for you and me.” ♥

Hope your day is a good one.  And be nice to each other.  You just never know what that other person may be going through ♥

What gorgeous photos! And yes, I totally agree with your statement about being nice to each other. We really don’t know what tough times other people might be going through. And kindness goes a long way.

I’ve heard great things about Guthrie Green. 🙂 my dad’s studio is literally right next to it on the corner of Boston and Brady. It’s Brady Artists Studio. He loves that it is literally right next door. What a wonderful addition to downtown Tulsa. I cannot wait to visit soon!!

    • Well NOW I know where your dad is…awesome! We will have to pay him a visit! They are new and still building up. They had a couple of food vendors there and are inviting more. I suspect this thing will spread like crazy as more folks learn about it. 🙂 Awesome for your dad!

  8. And this is why I love summer all the things that go on in cities. We have saturday in the park here and last weekend was the last one. I really love your photos!
