After an exhausting weekend for my retail manager hubby, we were excited to escape to downtown Tulsa last night for dinner and a little night music. Guthrie Green did not disappoint. I wish all of you could have been there with us ~Red Dirt Rangers
Before the countdown to lights on ~
And after ~ “Glow” on the Green. Revitalizing downtown Tulsa is awesome!
Today ~ Make it a good one ♥
Glow on the green indeed 🙂
🙂
I appreciate your last line as a reminder for us all, to make today a good one. It is in our power to do so.
A reminder to myself :)…. thanks and happy Monday ♥
Looks like a fine venue for a concert. Glad to hear it lived up to expectations.
Their first annual “lighting”…LOTS of folks and furry friends turned out! Pretty awesome.
some cool down town christmas lights
I love “downtowns” and the lights. A win-win! thanks 🙂
downtowns should have christmas lights
for sure
Pretty.
I miss all the Christmas decorations, there’s not a whole lot of that here, they’re very subtle.
Interesting, Maggie. Do you do lights?
No, that would just give them another excuse to point out how American I am… I try not to stand out too much. I’m a blend in the crowed type of person and the book has brought me enough attention…
I love how American you are, Maggie. Learning to live in another country must be bitter-sweet. Your book is awesome though and it’s a “good” attention it brings. No need to blend it, sister! Let those lights shine! 🙂
I like how you think 🙂
🙂
Looks really beautiful. Great decorations. 🙂
It is so cool. And exciting for this new downtown gathering place! 🙂
Tulsa is a great city! Nice shots!!
There is so much to see….and eat….and drink….and shoot. 🙂
I haven’t been in a while – I love mid century downtown buildings
me too!
What a way to kick off a festive season!
🙂
Mahvelus images! Lovely night view ~
Downtown = fun! ty♥
I love it!! And, I am assuming that when you said you wished that all of YOU could be there, that you meant me, right!?! 🙂 What a cool venue; glad you got to go, even without me! 🙂 xo
Well of course I meant YOU! And the weather cooperated nicely. A Calafornia girl would have loved it. I know….all you got was a pic… 🙂
Don’t you just love outdoor concerts????!!!!! Let’s start a movement to get rid of all the indoor humongous arenas…
I’m in! 🙂
My mother grew up in Tulsa…she certainly wouldn’t know it now. The glow on the green looks pretty.
There is much effort going into revitalizing downtown Tulsa. It reminds me of the transformation of downtown OKC. Fun to be a witness to!
