Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns. George EliotI do not have words to describe the feelings that fall brings. The ever-changing colors, the chill in the air, the majesty of it all~ So I will simply chase the leaves with my camera and see what I might capture along the way. I’ve said it before and I will say it again…..HaPPy FaLL! ♥

Glorious shots of a glorious season 😉
Hubby is so used to hearing “STOP THE CAR” by now….:) Thanks and have a great weekend!
“Stop the car…” Hoo-boy. My husband as well! He tells me that I usually yell this where it’s completely impossible to stop 🙂
ummm….yes….I get that a lot,too. like yesterday….on the two-lane curved road! 🙂
and the engineer our train ride was TOTALLY uncooperative with my “stop” requests! ha!
I love that quote! Although I miss summer your enthusiasm for Fall is contagious! Great photos as always. 🙂
I love it, too! As fun as summer is…Fall has always been my fav! Planting bulbs for spring and fall mums and pansies. Fall festivals gallore. Pumpkin hunting. If it just weren’t leading to winter….we’d be all good! 🙂
Absolutely magnificent pictures!!
thanks so much….it is just beginning!
Yes, fall and spring; wish that was all there was! Beautiful photos.
I’m with you on that! Have a great weekend!
Beauties Paula! I feel the same. Happy Fall!
xo
Cannot imagine how it must look where you live! Jealous 🙂 ♥
It is majestic Paula. But I must tell you, yours is not too shabby. Just lovely! Maybe all you are missing is the smell of apples in the air…imagine it…it’s heaven
I am smelling the caramel that goes on those apples!!! YUMMMMM! 🙂
ooooh you had to go there. yummmy
🙂
Lovely photos! Isn’t our creator amazing? Enjoying fall on the California coast – we’ll have some yellow leaves and a few red ones on my Liquid Amber tree:)
No artist could paint it the way He does! 🙂
Autumn is my favorite season – your photographs really capture its magic!!
awww….thanks. With our drought conditions, I questioned how our fall would be…but it has begun and it is striking! I anticipate the change in each day! Have a great weekend! 🙂
Ok, I am on board now…today was our first real Fall-like day, and it was delicious! We had 90’s until last week, then a cold spell for a few days…one extreme to another, but today…was perfectly delicious! So I say yes to Fall, bring her on,and your photos are perfect! 🙂
yay for your cooler days! rain here this evening….lots and lots of thunder, lightning and rain! but the sun’ll come out tomorrow….so they say! 🙂
Thunder storms are soooo cool! We don’t get them often enough! Enjoy and like Annie says, the Sun’ll come out tomorrow! 🙂
and it has!
BEAUTIFUL!
🙂
Gorgeous fall colors! 🙂
Ya gotta love fall!
You captured the essence of autumn perfectly!!
thanks a bunch….luv this time of year!
Never experienced autumn before but I hope someday I shall. From your beautiful pictures, like you I would want to be a bird any day
Oh I hope you are able to experience autumn! Knowing fall is around the corner makes the hot summer days bearable. Thanks so much for the visit and please come often!!! ♥ paula
Thank you! Will most definitely *fly* over to your blog again 😉
🙂 love it! you are too cute!
I am so with you girl! I love this time of year. I was wondering the other day – when I saw hundreds of little black birds on the power lines; it was a bit chilly that day – do they gain any heat from the lines? Because if they don’t, you would think it would be warmer in the trees instead of swaying in the wind.
A great question! And I was just wishing I had a HAT on while I was hurrying to snap their pics! 🙂
Fall is the best – I have shot for 4 straight days – can’t get enough of those leaves. Great shots!
thanks…..but I am loving yours, girl!
🙂
The night I’m supposed to be packing to leave…..
just a short stay away you see….
I’m sitting here with gobbling eyes,
stuffed full of the most tasty words and sights
that blogging brings,
the best amongst which
I’ve found are your autumn things…..
thank you for visiting my blog and for this brand new connection : )
You are awesome! Thanks for you lovely words!!! ♥ paula
