If you saw yesterday’s post, Reindeer Stuffing, you may have read a request from my friend, Julie B. She wanted to see her favorite pic of “the girls”. First let me explain. Our kids originally adopted Sugar and Baby from the Joplin Humane Society when the pups were just a few weeks old. They were sisters and they hated to see them separated. The smaller one, it turns out, had parvo, but we noticed the signs early enough, that her sister was put on a preventative med while she was spent time in the hospital. They both kicked it! Shortly after this, our kids sold their house much quicker than anticipated and they ended up living with other relatives while waiting for their new house. And THAT is how the pups ended up with us. Temporarily mind you. they are now almost 7 years old..
The pics to follow were when they were just about six or seven months old. I was determined to have Christmas photos of the girls, and this is what we got.
Here ya go Julie, your favorite!
To quote Bob Barker ~ “Have your pets spayed or neutered!” And remember all the babies out there waiting to be rescued. π
beautiful babies!
ty!
Love the picture in front of the fireplace. The WordPress snow makes it even more special. Great pictures!
I love the word press snow! π
Thank you thank you! It’s even better when you see the one before, those sweet, angelic faces…and then……..hahahaha…I really needed that this morning!
π Happy to oblige β₯ hugs β₯
Terribly photogenic pups!
π They are the best!
Love the pups! β€ So your kids left the dogs with you and now they are your's?
While we had them, we had them spayed and became attached….hubby’s blood pressure went down…..yep…we “re” adopted them! π
That’s good. At least they have a happy home!
They RULE the house! haha
LOL π
Smiled all the way through this one, Very lucky dogs!! and Very lucky you. π
My dad says they don’t know they are dogs ~ lol!
The one in front of the fireplace is my favorite… cute!
π
I love the squirrel chasing photo…my furkid Stuart would love nothing more than to get in on that action! π
The girls miss the squirrels. We had TONS at our Joplin house (along with a forest of oak trees!) Now we chase birds and if we are lucky, sometimes a rat! Yuck.
Ewww….is right! Yuck! You know we have had a skunk, tons of squirrels [the girls would love to visit here!! wink!] and we see an occasional raccoon, possum and yes, a rat every now and then. AND, we live in the city, but very near to a river. π
The critters have to live somewhere, I guess! We are on the “outskirts” of a small town….I’m surprised we don’t have more visitors. I sure smell them sometimes, but don’t often see them. Am thinking that river is a great invitation for “friends”!
I loved the pictures – not that MY dogs ever do the same thing ha ha! The tug game was the best.
And thanks for subscribing to my blog! How very nice. I subscribed back to yours and look forward to hearing more from you.

P.S. Here’s my daughters puppies playing tug (she breeds mastiff on the side). I have some of mine in the blog but can’t seem to find them right now. One of these days I have to redo my tags!

Adorable!!! I look forward to watching them grow into their feet!!! π
Just too gorgeous – red and blue collars, just like my girls … which reminds me, they’re not here, under my feet, I must go and see what mischief they’re up to …
