Seems it’s always exciting around our house when the kids come for a visit. The younger set came a few days before Christmas, kayak in tow. I didn’t think twice about my suggestion they just park in the garage so they wouldn’t have to unstrap it from their vehicle. Until, well……you know the song about “what goes up, must come down”….so it is with a visiting kayak.Β And a driveway with an incline.
HaPPy Weekend, people! Be nice to each other β₯

But all is well now for I am following you too. You have a wonderful blog and I love the concept of ‘sisters’ I have two that I would do anything and tell everything to. π I look forward to reading more of your wonderful life and Hope you and yours have a Happy New Years!!!
I am so happy to follow you! Thanks so much for sweet comments. β₯ You share such great info! Happy New Year to you and I look forward to getting to know you better!!!
Looks real familiar. I closed the garage door on my new car the first day I drove it home!!! Raise your hand if you have not done something like this…
Oh my….yes we all have!
LOL Glad it worked out okay… how did you guys fare with the bad winter weather over Christmas?
a total bust! we were expecting several inches of snow…sleet, etc….It went south and we just got the bitter cold stuff. antoher chance tomorrow….so we shall see?!?!? How bout you guys?
We got the same from that storm… but that’s usually how it is, here in the Ohio Valley. Indiana gets hit hard but Louisville usually escapes. We only got a dusting… but I heard Lawton got hit with about six inches of snow, so i was wondering how you fared π
We got about two inches of snow on Friday night though… James was very happy!
I have family in the Lawton area that got the snowy stuff, for sure. While a white Christmas would have been nice….I must admit I didn’t miss the mess & trouble snow can bring! So glad James had a bit of snow to enjoy! We have rain this morning…watching the temps to see if we end up with snow or ice for NYE????
Stay warm π And may you have a peaceful and prosperous new year π
Thanks so much…and to you! β₯
What fun. I wasn’t breathing until I knew all was safe.
lol! cute π
Wow, like father, like son!!!! At least in looks!!
Never a dull moment!
So were you planning to kayak at Christmas? I have a friend over here who has ridden hers down the mountain in the snow π
The kids actually came here first and were headed to Neosho (closer to you) for Christmas. Since they’ve moved to Enid….they’ve not had kayaking opportunities. Everything is dried up! I will not mention that kayak snowboarding to my child….he would try it! π
Ha – we found it worked better if you coat the bottom with PAM or WD-40
again….shhhhhhh
