And I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
~Lee Greenwood

Nice – it’s good to be reminded what Memorial Day is all about.
Yep….the cook-outs, family, kick off of summer….all because of those who stood and died for our freedom. So grateful.
Amen sister
I did enjoy these photos… it was the one thing we noticed the most when we toured a small bit of the USA… was its patriotism .. really good to see…
I will share more flag photos in a few days when I have a bit of time. These will be from the tornado damaged area at my folks house. Ripped and torn….but still flying. ♥
Loved this. Fantasic photos!
TY! ♥ paula
Lovely photos as always Paula!
Thanks, Amber ♥ I do so love our Flag ~
Wonderful photos! And the Lee Greenwood song can still make me cry every time!! So much changes, but we can still hold onto our patriotism and faith. 🙂
My dad served in WWI, friends & family served in WWII, my husband & cousin served in Korean War, my nephew served in Viet Nam, and young friends now serve in Iraq. When will we ever be without war? I’m so grateful for all the men and women who so selflessly give, to keep us all safe and free. Your flag photos are wonderful. God Bless the U.S.A.
Blessings to all of those who have served for us. Love you, Delores ♥
You are so right! ♥

Thank you for this most patriotic of posts. God bless you.
You are so sweet….and He has blessed me….beyond measure ♥
