A few favorite shots of our 724 mile journey. We spotted the deer as we wandered through Devil’s Den State Park in Arkansas. Hubby was the driver and I stood in the seat shooting through the sunroof. Don’t tell my mom. (More to come later….but not to worry! I won’t post all 347 shots 🙂 )
Hope your week has been a good one! Be nice to people ♥
A late season fawn with it’s spots – sweet! It looks like you had a great trip!
We did, Lorri. And we both enjoyed getting to know you “in real life”!
Beautiful Paula…what a delicate creature the deer is. Tough, but delicate at the same time. The first photo is great! I’m liking the Ozarks! 🙂
I wanted to grab him and take him home! We have been to the Ozarks so many times (and yes….even lived there at one time), but still found new people, places and things! 🙂
Wow, those really are some beautiful photos! 🙂
Thanks so much. There was a lot to take in!
You must be living in paradise! Nice picture.
We “used” to live close to this area! And our kids still do. Always a pleasure to go there. Maybe one of these days we’ll live there again?!!? Ya never know? 🙂
Great photos, the one of the butterfly on the flower is my favorite. Just beautiful !!!
Appreciate your comments! That’s my favorite as well. The butterflies were everywhere!
One of my favorites . . . captivating and beautiful!
♥
Paula, these are really fine photographs–what a spectacular series. I especially loved the fauna!
I appreciate that, Naomi. The deer were precious. They never cease to captivate my curiosity!
Wow! Beautiful photos as always:)
Thanks so much, Jeannette….. lots of crazy roads…but so worth it!
I so love your pictures Paula … they are more than just beautiful, they remind me to always be amazed.
Mimi….. thank you ♥ I love how nature reminds me of who is truly in charge of this world we live in!
Wow Paula, great photos! I especially LOVE the first one where scenery is reflected off your seemingly super clean vehicle!
Ha ha! “Seemingly” being the operative word there! 🙂
Please post more… in fact them all… these are just beautiful…
Believe you me….you would not want to see all of them! But thank you! 🙂
So beautiful shots…I wouldn’t mind if you post them all 😉
Afraid it might get old after you see 25 shots of the same butterfly! 🙂 But I will post some more. Thanks so much ♥ paula
Fantastic shots, please do post more…… 🙂
Thanks …. I will soon. 🙂
Beautiful!! 347 like these isn’t too many.
Oh Paula, there just isn’t any place any prettier than the Ozarks. When I’ve visited my Tulsa Cousins, they have taken me to Eureka Springs, AR. I so often use my recipe book from The Victorian Sampler Tea Room. I was sad to hear it has closed down. The surrounding areas are so peaceful and lovely. We all want to see more of your photos.
Eureka Springs is awesome! My favorite meatloaf recipe is from that cookbook, I’m pretty sure! (and I’m not a meatloaf “liker”) Delores, since you love E.S. you should check out Lorri’s blog http://theeffstop.com/. She lives there!
Thanks….. and YES, it IS! haha. I get carried away sometimes! 🙂
Beautiful photos 🙂
The Ozarks make it so easy. Thank you 🙂
As for me, I would not mind seeing all the 347 pictures from your tour! – Thank you for allowing a peek along the road, with you!
Much love!
You are too sweet! Thanks for coming along!!! Happy Friday! ♥ paula
Wow, beautiful shots!
🙂 thank you! a fun trip ~
Now, I longer fear the day when my Kiddo is old enough to drive!! I can’t wait to be the passenger and stand up through the sunroof with my camera. And I won’t have to worry about telling mom…because I am! 🙂 These are gorgeous shots Paula…just awesome!! Fun to see a bit of where you were while travelling at the same time!!
Our journey together (kinda) was so much fun, Bon-Bon…. Once you get the knee brace thing down and the elbows set….shooting out the sunroof is a “breeze”. I’ll drive you anytime, btw!
What beautiful photos thank you for sharing. I love the first one it looks so peaceful, it must of been a wonderful drive.
A great drive it was….thanks so much for going with me! 🙂
absolutely beautiful – thanks for stopping by to read my blog and i look forward to seeing more from you as well – beth
🙂 Thanks a bunch !
The Ozarks are now officially on my bucket list, and I want you to go with me as my travel guide! Your pictures are amazing! It looks like the little gal has mascara on in the first picture of her! Her eyes are so beautiful! What a fun trip, and a long one! I love your reflection scenes. Good thing that a police car didn’t drive by as you were taking those shots! 🙂 Of course, you wore a seatbelt across your legs, right?
Hubby braced his arm across my legs….do you think that counts?! The Ozarks ~ beautiful and fun. You just go there and drive. Guaranteed to find fun along the way!
I’m not passing out any tickets.
🙂
