I rarely think about my actual age. Not that I don’t FEEL it some days, (!) but today is my birthday and I’m thinking about the “number”. I’m also reflecting a bit ~
A tornado hit the area of Oklahoma City where my folks lived the day I was born. It actually did some pretty major damage to our house and they brought me home from the hospital to live in a kitchenette motel for a few weeks while repairs were made. Welcome to this world, Paula ~ I’m sure it was very stressful for my parents….but for me, well….I don’t recall a thing ! 🙂 (But love the stories!)
I have been celebrating my birthday all week long with different family members. Today, I will have lunch with my mom and dad and hubby. So HaPpY BiRtHdAy to me! I’m not gonna ignore it, because I appreciate each and every year that I meet! So birthdays? I say, bring em on!

LOVE, love, love the family pic….so hard to get everyone together (though Shelby was missing, darn it). Loved the photo of the waterfall – how peaceful; who needs to go to Maui for a waterfall? Paula…Happy Birthday! I’m sure you have heard this question before: “If you didn’t know how old you are, how old would you be?” Do you have a “bucket list”? I’m sure your Mom made all your favorite foods for your Birthday lunch today. You are blessed to have so many people who want to celebrate your birth…and you deserve all the love they give you. Where was that beautiful waterfall? I enjoyed all your photos. No cupcakes in my kitchen, but I do have strawberries and shortcake….would that be a good substitute for me to eat in your honor?

You’re NOT 29?!?!? When I turned 29 (the first time) you sent me a card that said, “Welcome to the Forever 29 Club”…if you’re not, then that means I am…ummm…oh noooooooooooo…say it ain’t so….
