We will never again have to worry about being invaded by hot air balloons at our house.
Our furry detectors are the best alarms ever.
They barked until the balloons were out of sight…and continued to bark another twenty minutes. so sorry neighbors Good girls. 🙂
Have a great week! Be nice to people, you never know what they may be going through…
Our dog barks at hang gliders. I can relate to this post.
Yep….they went nuts. lol! And the next day…there was a remote airplane buzzing them….they sure wanted to eat it!
See, it worked. Barking sent those balloons sailing elsewhere. Good girls.
haha! exactly!
Dogs bark… It’s the nature of the beast.
They were in good company with the pups next door!
We have friends under the flight path of a local balloon company and their dog does exactly the same every time one goes over. It’s quite an eerie sound (the balloon, that is) 😉
Yes it is! Each time the balloons “fired up” again…the girls intensified those barks and howls! 🙂
Great dogs and great shots!
They are good little guard dogs. 🙂
One of those could land near mine and she wouldn’t care unless they had something to eat. A 90 pound Lab and she is scared of gunshots, water, storms, and the dark. A fine guard dog she turned out to be.
Now that’s funny! Not that she’s scared….but that she’s a gentle giant. Gotta love her ♥
Teddy does the same thing! http://www.flickr.com/photos/gghouse/8399630251/in/set-72157631722027293

Thanks, R ~ Hope your week has been a good one 🙂
It’s not been too bad… just three weeks now until I leave Louisville… I resigned nearly three weeks ago too so I’m halfway there 🙂
You are almost there! Good for you for following your heart.
My dog barks at everything ‘aerial’, if you catch my ‘drift’ (oops! Accidental pun :P).
She even warns us of upcoming thunderstorms 🙂
And yes, amazing photos! Loved the hot air balloon photos! 😀
